Galentine's Dessert Charcuterie Board

Gather your gals, friends and loved ones, it's time to celebrate with this Galentine's Dessert Charcuterie Board! A scrumptious platter full of nothing but sweet treats. This makes it the perfect centrepiece to graze on this February 14th (for a special Valentine's Day) or beyond!
Featuring seasonal fruits, bread, spreads, cookies, pastries, fudge and many more mini-dessert items. There's a little bit of something for everyone!

Equipment

  • Large Serving Board
  • Small bowls and glass jars

Ingredients
  

Seasonal Fruits

  • 1 apple thinly sliced
  • 1 nectarine thinly sliced
  • 1 peach thinly sliced
  • 250 g strawberries

Breads & Spreads

  • 1 baguette or bread loaf thinly sliced
  • 1 cup Nutella/ chocolate hazelnut spread
  • 1 cup dulce de leche or caramel

Cookies

  • 100's and 1000's cookies
  • mini macarons or chocolate chip cookies

Pastries

  • mini croissants or other pastries

Nuts

  • 1 cup whole almonds
  • ½ cup hazelnuts

Sweets

  • 2 cups nougat
  • 1 cup coconut chunks
  • 1 cup yoghurt coated raisins

Instructions
 

  • Start by placing small bowls on the serving board, along with a glass jar and fill them with strawberries, mini croissants/ pastries, hazelnuts and almonds.
  • Transfer Nutella/ chocolate hazelnut spread and dulce de leche into small jars and place them on the board.
  • Arrange bread on the board in a few different places, followed by the cookies.
  • Layer on the sliced apple, nectarine and peach.
  • Then add on the nougat, coconut chunks and raisins.
  • Fill the spaces with some of the hazelnuts and almonds.
  • Serve!
